Robotics Team Competition Page

Its been an exciting season for our very first ever robotics team at Taper. We began our journey in the Fall of 2022 competing at the LAUSD South VEX IQ League at Dodson Middle School, winning the league along side Wilmington Middle School, which qualified us for the 2023 Southern California VEX IQ Elementary School State Championship. At State, we earned a spot to the prestigious 2023 VEX Robotics World Championship (the olympics of robotics.) hosted in Dallas, Texas on May 2nd-4th. Taper was one of only seven LAUSD elementary schools to make it all the way to Worlds competing along side almost eight hundred teams from forty different countries.
